Veterinary Science Day Camp-Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a veterinarian and help animals every day? This exciting camp will be held August 5-7, 2013 at the Bell County Expo Center and is open to all youth who are in grades 3rd through 12th, (ages 8-18). Participants will explore what it takes to get to vet school, learn about the 4-H veterinary science project, get to see live veterinary procedures, administer medications to live animals, and meet local veterinarians and vet technicians. 4-H members will also play fun games relating to veterinary sciences. The camp will run from 8:00am-12:00pm each day and includes refreshments, workbook and a cool t-shirt. Cost is $30 per person and registration is due no later than July 25th. Registration and waiver form can be soon found on the Vet Science website below. Registration and waiver forms as well as payment must be received to secure your spot in the camp. Limit for camp is 50 participants. Come be a part of the excitement!
