4-H Enrollment/Guidelines

Steps to Enroll and Participate in 4-H:

  1. Enroll Online (Official Discounted Enrollment begins SEPT 1, 2026. Enrollment cost goes up NOV 1, 2026)

  2.  Attend your Club Meetings

  3. Read 4-H Blasts/Newsletters

  4. Like our Milam County 4-H Facebook Page

  5. Attend 4-H Project Activities/Contests

  6. Please Call the County Extension Office if you have any questions or need more information

ALL 4-H’ers and Leaders Need To Update Enrollment Annually–This year, we have a new website. You will need to have a new User ID and password.

THIS SHEET will walk you through all the steps. There is also a “Help Desk” button you can use if you have questions or if something is working properly for you. We are happy to answer some basic questions about the website, but as it is a new system, you should address your questions to the Help Desk.

ENROLLMENT STARTS SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

4-H Members:

  • All members, new and returning, will need to set up a profile on the 4-H Online System and complete all information to join.
  • Please use THIS SHEET as a guide to walk you through the steps.
  • $25 4-H Registration Fee for Junior (3rd-5th), Intermediate (6th-8th) and Senior (9th-12th) grade 4-H’ers from September 1, 2026—October 31, 2026.
  • On Nov. 1st the fee goes to $30.
  • $10 registration fee for Cloverbuds, beginner age 4-H’ers (K-2nd grade)
  • Remember You Need to be an Active 4-H Member to participate in activities

Leaders and Volunteers:

  • ALL leaders, new and returning, will need to set up a profile on the 4-H Online System and complete all information to join.
  • Please use THIS SHEET as a guide to walk you through the steps.
  • ALL leaders will have to complete a background check every three years before being approved for Volunteer Membership.
  • ALL leaders will have to complete 2 trainings every other year before being approved for Volunteer Membership.
  • $10 Registration Fee for Volunteers (includes screening).
  • Remember leaders must be active to assist 4-H’ers in project activities as well as drive 4-H members to events.
